Paralegal

Madison Dominick

Madison Dominick is the reason things at Black Law P.A. actually happen on time. Deadlines that would send a normal person into a cold sweat? She calculated, calendared, and triple-confirmed them before the rest of us even finished reading the order. If there's a filing system in Florida, whether Circuit Civil, Middle District, or Appeals, Madison has not only filed in it, she's filed in it correctly, on the first try.

A proud St. Pete native with over nine years in the legal world, Madison worked her way up from the file room to paralegal the honest way: by being the person who never drops a detail. She drafts the pleadings, finalizes the discovery, builds hearing notebooks so immaculate they could be entered into evidence, and keeps the billing moving, all while pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Paralegal Studies, because apparently a full caseload wasn't enough of a challenge. (She was also a Phi Theta Kappa honor society officer, so the overachieving is well documented.)

Here's the thing about Madison: she is steady in a profession that is professionally unsteady. Calm where others panic, precise where others guess, and loyal in a way you can't teach. She reads the procedures. She follows the procedures. Hand her a new piece of software, a new case management platform, or a new e-filing portal (anything the rest of us are politely avoiding), and Madison will quietly learn it, master it, and then come find us when we have questions. By stealth and persistence, she has become the de facto manager of nearly every system the firm runs on, which is exactly how it should be: in the hands of the one person who actually enjoys figuring out how things work. She is also the one who organizes the office luncheons and holiday events, which means she keeps both the docket and the morale running. A rare and dangerous combination. Rush her or hand her an unrealistic deadline and she'll still deliver; she'd just like it noted, politely and in writing, that the deadline was unrealistic.

Family comes first, quality comes standard, and chaos doesn't stand a chance. We're not entirely sure how the firm functioned before Madison, and we'd prefer never to find out.
