Cody is a strategic and tenacious litigator who represents clients across a wide range of industries. If a dispute has moving parts, competing narratives, and at least one person ready to swear under oath, odds are it has Cody's attention. His practice spans high-stakes partnership and shareholder fights, sophisticated commercial contract and fraud cases, construction and real estate litigation, e-commerce disputes, and the kinds of complex business matters that demand both careful strategy and steady execution.

Known for his direct approach and unwavering advocacy, Cody is the lawyer clients call when they want someone who will tell them the truth, build the plan, and then actually execute it. He believes complex disputes don't need to feel complex to the client. That's his job, not theirs. Some cases settle. Others go to trial. Cody prepares for both with the same intensity, which is to say: a lot. His passion for litigation is matched only by his commitment to results, whether that means a hard-won settlement at the negotiating table or a closing argument delivered with the kind of quiet confidence that makes opposing counsel reconsider their life choices.

A South Florida native, Cody earned his law degree from St. Thomas University School of Law, where he served as a staff editor for the Journal of Complex Litigation, a publication whose title doubles as an accurate description of his current docket. He cut his teeth interning with a Broward County Circuit Court Judge and the State Attorney's Office, where he learned two enduring truths: courtrooms reward preparation, and there is no substitute for showing up ready. Since then, he's represented clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to scrappy individual entrepreneurs in state court, federal court, and arbitration. Along the way, he's picked up a passport's worth of cross-border experience, defending and pursuing claims involving marine vessels from China, aviation companies in the UK, and commercial contracts with Brazilian entities. He swears he didn't pick the international cases for the frequent flyer miles, though he is not, for the record, returning them.

In 2025, Cody was recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in Business Litigation, an honor that reflects his growing reputation for excellence in the courtroom and his unwavering commitment to client success.

When he's not litigating, Cody can be found doing the kinds of things lawyers do when they pretend they aren't thinking about litigation. He is, by all accounts, very convincing.
