Jonathan Cohen is a seasoned construction and surety lawyer in Fort Lauderdale. He teamed up with Kelsey Black on several federal court matters over the past several years, and serves as of counsel for Black Law P.A.
Throughout his career, Jonathan has handled all phases of construction and surety disputes in Fort Lauderdale from pre-litigation and investigation to post-judgment collection activities in state court, federal court and arbitration. Jonathan has successfully litigated lawsuits on behalf of construction and surety companies in matters involving contract balances, construction defects, contractual disputes, principal defaults, reorganizations, and obligee misconduct.
Before being a lawyer, Jon was a licensed series 7, 63 and 73 investment officer in a large financial institution. He knows his stuff.
